Amir on Records

Brian V. of Meat & Potato’s hooked me up with the link to this video tonight. It features Amir (of Kon & Amir) speaking on their compilation record, “Kings of Diggin.” Of which Brian hooked me up with as well. I guarantee this will make you want to develop your ear, and go diggin’. Which I haven’t done in years.

The Mighty Heroes

One of those rare cartoons I used to watch as a kid, brought to you by one of my favorite animators, Ralph Bakshi. The man behind Mighty Mouse, Coonskin (later changed to Streetfight), Fritz the Cat, Lord of the Rings (animated), Wizard, and more.

Every now and then over a few beers, cartoons seem to come into the conversation. I’ve mentioned this one a few times, but there is another cartoon I always bring up, but can never remember the name. It was kind of like the Smurfs, but with Trolls in trees that drove cars. Anyhow, if you know what I’m talking about, jot down the title in the comments section.
